Karari-bhindi.........very simple.....
Ingredients ....
500 grams ladysfinger
2 teaspoons gram flour
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 tspn turmeric
1/2 tspn red chilly powder
1/4 tspn cumin powder
1/4 tspn coriander powder
1/4 tspn garam masala
salt to taste.
Oil to deep fry
method.....
Rinse the bhindi in water for 3-4 times. Wipe them dry with a kitchen napkin.cut head and tail throw them . Slice the bhindi/okra vertically into 4 pieces. If you have small sized bhindi, then slice into 2 pieces. Take all your sliced bhindi in a big plate or bowl
Next add the turmeric, red chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin ,garam masala powder, lemon juice and salt to taste. Mix it up all well and let it marinate for ten minutes
Now add the gram flour and mix it up well. Take a frying pan and pour enough oil to deep fry and bring to heat
When the oil is very hot add the ladysfinger and deep fry till golden brown......
Serve hot with tea or with rice or chapati...........
Kids just love them to eat as snacks.
