Cabbage pakora.........
Ingredients.....
1 cup shredded or finely chopped cabbage.
1½ cup besan/chick pea flour
½ tsp red chili powder
1 green chili, finely chopped
1/2 termeric powder
1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp carom seeds
Pinch of baking soda
Freshly chopped coriender
1 cup water
salt to taste
oil for frying
method......
In a bowl, mix together all the ingredients except oil.The pakora batter should be thick.
add the salt or chili powder according to your taste.
Heat oil in a pan for deep frying the pakoras. Keep the flame medium. When the oil becomes hot, take spoonful of the mixed batter and pour it in the hot oil.
fry the pakoras till they become crisp and golden brown.
Serve hot with green chutney or catch up
