south Indian sambar masala / gojju pudi.......







Ingredients.......
1 cup red dry chilly
1/2 cup black gram(split without skin)
1/2  cup bengal gram(split without skin)
1 cup coriander seeds
1 tsp fenugreek seeds
2 tsp sesame seeds
2 tsp cumin seeds
1 cup dry coconut grated
1/2 tsp asafoetida
1 tsp oil(you can avoid also)


Method.....

1) heat pan and roast all the above ingredients except coconut,using oil.
 you can avoid oil and dry roast spices without oil also.
2)switch of the flame and roast coconut in same hot  pan for some time .
3)now grind all these ingredients together to powder.
4)store it in air tight container.
5)you can use this for more than 6 months for sambar ,curry,gojju....etc
